Hello!

What is your go to shampoo and conditioner for your kids. There are so many products out there and i have found some are just not great. I would love to find one that is great for active kids who have long hair that gets tangled and dirty very easily.

  • My one recommendation for long hair with tendency to tangle would be to not use the ‘kids 2 in 1 shampoos’ they have shampoo and conditioner in the same bottle but I find they aren’t conditioning enough for long hair. My girls have long hair and I find using a leave in conditioner can be helpful aswell

  • My kids usually just use whatever I am using. I actually found the Beach Rd shampoo bars at the supermarket to be quite good.

  • I love Gaia, their line can be used on the littlest of kids up to any age. They smell lovely and are an Australian company. For more sensitive skin I like the QV range or MooGoo. Both great at giving a great clean

  • I always used Johnson’s when hey were little but now they just use whatever we use. I’m always on a budget so it varies according to what is on special. Most do a pretty good job. Some smell so much nicer than others and that’s always a selling point for me too.

  • I used the Palmolive 2 in 1 for children when my daughter was younger.

  • Depends on hair type too! My kids have long gorgeous hair – we use Palmolive kids on them. Their hair is always praised by hairdressers at how healthy and shiny it looks.

  • I’ve heard Mimi is great for kids. Unless they are babies though, I don’t really see much need for hair products dedicated for kids? Pretty sure I was using mum’s shampoo from when I was old enough for the shower!

  • I agree with the poster below that it depends on the childs age but for me the Dove Shampoo and Conditioners are well priced and smell lovely.

  • Such a personal choice! Depending on hair type and ages. I personally LOVED using Johnson’s shampoo on the kids when they were little! (The orange one) they always smelt sooo beautiful after! I miss that smell! If they are older and need something a bit more gutsy Aldi has good quality yet good priced shampoo and conditioner.
