Hello!

What sunscreen do you find is best under make up. I have never found one that really works and although you can get foundation that has sunscreen in it, i have not yet found one that works well on my skin.

  • I use a cancer council one for the kiddies and find this to be non irritating like some other brands. For me, i personally hate the feeling of it on my skin so finding one that didnt feel greasy was so important! I really like my lancome one for that reason.

  • I know for me the Choice review on sunscreen really jolted me. I was so grateful the kids Cancer Council sunscreen held up to its claims, so I have continued using that on my toddler and started using it myself. I used to love the Neutrogena spray bottle, but then read how notorious they are at giving terrible coverage

  • I’ve just started using a cheap Nivea Q10 moisturiser with sunscreen 30+. It’s a great base for make up, not too dry and not oily, just right! It goes over my regular Vit C and hyaluronic serums. The pot goes a long way and will last for ages.

  • I try and buy a foundation that already has spf in it! Makes it so much easier

  • I’m a little doubtful about many of them and their claims after recent items on the news stating they have found to not be doing what they advertise. It will be interesting to read here what really works. I just have a Woolies own brand one in a big orange pump bottle that has been fine.

  • Agree with you here! I use one from lancome and find this to be great. It feels lightweight on the skin and doesnt leave me feeling greasy, sticky or like i have a cast/layer on my skin which is my pet peeves when it comes to sunscreen at times.

  • I love the Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunscreen and have used that as my main sunscreen for years.
On the more expensive side the Avene sunscreens and La Roche Posay ones are lovely also.

  • I love Bondi Sands Face SPF 50. I also like Avene’s Sunsitive fluid SPF 50 which is very light and milky and absorbs into the skin easily.

  • I love the mineral sunscreen from Go-To. It’s the first I’ve used that doesn’t end up irritating my eyes. It’s definitely more pricey than store and pharmacy brands, but I get so sick of ending the day with red eyes and mascara smudged from sunscreen irritation

  • La Roche Posay Anthelios Invisible Spray SPF50+ is my favourite for face and body.
It’s expensive but regularly goes on 40%-50% off a Chemist Warehouse and lasts ages. I just spray my face lightly and rub it in after I do my skincare and prior to putting on my make up. It doesn’t leave a greasy white cast and it doesn’t seem to split ym make up either.
