Hello!

Has anyone tried a chemist/grocery store whitening product that works well? I’m wanting something that will add a little extra brightening without having to go get a proper dentist job done.

  • I honestly think it’s all a gimmick. I have gotten free samples of White Glow – the strips you stick on, and I don’t see a noticeable difference.

  • I’ve tried a handful of different teeth whitening products and have felt the same, I never really see much of a difference. I think I’ll just get it done professionally, but I am a little nervous (scaredy cat) of the sensitivity afterwards

  • I never saw an improvement with the few store bought ones that I have tried.

  • I’d love to know how much it cost you mee Dee and if you had any sensitivity after getting it done? I feel like it would be more worth the cost just getting it done the one time as opposed to daily treatment

  • I would love to know if teeth whitening at the dentist costs much and how sensitive your teeth feel after! I booked in with my dentist for teeth whitening and was pretty disappointed that I was created a mould tray for my teeth and sent home with diy product. It wasn’t what I was hoping for and I couldn’t use it often because my teeth hurt after the first two uses

  • I think it would be absolutely worth the price at the dentist, but I’m a little worried (scared haha) at how sensitive my teeth might feel afterwards. Did anyone have intense sensitivity after getting it done? That’s probably the best route to go, anything at the chemist will probably not hit the way I want it to

  • You’d probably find the strength or % in supermarket/store bought aren’t as high grade as getting it from a dental clinic.

  • I had really bad staining on my teeth and did get whitening done at the Dentist years ago which was awesome but costly.
I have not found anything from the chemist that works for me so I also would love to know if anyone has had any luck.
