Hello!

does any one have any tips or tricks on how to handle broken nails? I want to find a better option than just a bandaid that can be annoying!

  • Cutting of filing down a broken nail tends to be the best thing to do. The last thing you want is for it to catch and tear away badly. So painful when it rips into your skin

  • First thing is definitely cut it down so you dont risk it tugging and ripping, making it worse! But like your i find bandaids are the best to ensure it doesnt get caught on anything else until it can grow out a bit more

  • I’m a bandaid user for while it’s uncomfortable so I can’t really help much. I can say that when your nail first breaks try and get the clipper straight away and cut it yourself so it doesn’t go too low to be uncomfortable

  • Like the poster below I simply file them smooth and get on with my day.

  • I just trim it and file it down. I can’t handle having bandaids on my fingers. I wash my hands far too much throughout the day (toddler mum life) and bandaids get so gross quickly
