Hello!

My feet especially the heels get really dry and cracked and can’t seem to find anything that works long term. Are there any products out there that actually work? Foot mask? Foot Srcub? Foot Files?

  • Using a stone regularly helps, followed by moisturising daily. I tend to do this after a shower when my skin is at its most soft. It definitely made the biggest difference for me. Stay away from foot files! They do more harm than good

  • I had the same issue and felt like I tried a million products. I’ve been using Weleda Skin Food Body Butter after my evening shower and putting thick night socks on and it’s been amazing. They now sell Weleda at priceline so it’s easy to come by

  • A very thick moisturiser and then put socks on to absorb better into the skin. The other thing you can do is apply baby oil and scrub the dead skin off your feet regularly.

  • Consistently sloughing away the dead skin and moisturising the area. Make it a regular part of your routine and you’ll see results.

  • I use a couple of different scholl foot files, a battery operated one and a glass one, both are effective and I use Dermal Therapy foot creams, their magic heel balm is good too, apply before bed and wear bed socks or sometimes I just use Cetaphil cream.

  • My heels and feet only seem to get dry in summer. I find by regularly exfoliating using a foot file and applying a heel balm either at night or in the morning (if wearing socks), tends to keep it under control. There’s lots of brands out there and most work, you just need to be consistent with application.

  • I get super dry cracked heels too and Dermal Therapy Heel Blam works well for me.
I usually only need to use it for a couple of nights in a row and its softens the skin right up.

I have used foot masks in the past but they make your skin flake off after a few days, which can look a bit unsightly if youre wearing open shoes.

  • Dermal Therapy have a product called ‘Heel Balm Platinum’ and it promises that you will see results in just one day. I have not tried this product but I troied their ‘Heel Balm’ and it worked well for me. I just figure it would be better to go for the stronger product.
