Hello!

What’s been a hit for you and what’s been a flop?

I’ve really been enjoying CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser. It’s great at easily removing makeup and sunscreen. Doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily.
Ego QV Face Exfoliation Polish is a new discovery I adore. It’s gentle but really effective, also budget friendly.

Unfortunately I’ve found that Aveeno Face Calm and Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser hasn’t been a good purchase. It feels very drying, and I need many pumps to feel like there’s product on my face.

  • Definitely recommend giving oil cleansers a try as a first step, they remove make up and spf so well. Initially I was worried it would leave my feeling greasy but it doesn’t at all

  • Im yet to try an oil cleanser! Im definitely more a cream/lather/foam girly but ive heard rave reviews! I love the cerave moisturising cream though. Its affordable and leaves skin feeling so soft

  • My teenagers love Cerave. They use the cleansers and moisturisers. For me, I’m loving SumaNurica. Their facial cleanser and makeup remover in the scrub tub is amazing!

  • Yes I also love that CeraVe oil cleanser! It’s such an effective cleanser for removing makeup and sunscreen. I’m going to have to check out this outlet store when I drive down to Brissie next! I’ve never heard of it, thanks for the tip.
I used to love the St Ives in my teens and early 20s, such a classic.
I’ll be trialling a luxe exfoliant soon and hoping it’ll be a winner. It’s a bit on the pricey side but has promising claims

  • I always swear by St Ives apricot facial scrub. It’s affordable & amazing.

  • I agree with you on the CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser. I double cleanse at night and always use this oil cleanser first.
The Sukin SUper Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub was a bargain as I got a 125ml tube for $1 at the Golden Circle outlet. For that price it works quite well.

The Sukin cleansing Oil was not so good. It doesnt remove makeup at all and just tends to coat the skin with a layer of oil. Big fail.
