Hello!

Just wondering what people are doing these days. I use an epilator with the occasional shave. Do people still get their legs waxed or use those horrible creams? Or are we all shaving?

  • I have a little electric shaver that I can use on the go, but I use it rarely. My always go is old fashioned razor.

  • I just shave but I would like to try laser hair removal for longer lasting results.

  • For those interested in using an epilator, yes it does hurt a little bit, but I quite like it lol… Saying that, I’ve not been game enough to use it under my arms or the bikini line. I also just use a cheap epilator from Kmart which I find works great!

  • I honestly just shave! It’s quick and easy in the shower and i dont have to worry about the extra clean up. Ive never tried those epilator things before. Have always wondered if they would be painful though!

  • I use the electric shaver on my legs but the disposable shaver and shaving cream under my armpits and bikini line. For my face, yes, the fine facial hair, I use a cream.

  • Whilst I shave My adult daughter prefers to wax due to time constraints and finds it better for her thicker darker hair. I’d love to try laser but I’m nervous if it hurts and could be harmful?

  • I’ve never used an epilator before! I’m going to go look them up. They sound painful. My understanding is it pulls the hair out by the root? Ouch. I’d love to know if it’s worth it

  • I shave armpits and legs and use a nads hair removal cream for upper lip!

  • I like to shave my legs and armpits and I wax my upper lip and under my chin (unfortunately, since having kids I get hair under my chin – embarrassing!)

  • I shave. I find it to be quick and as I have aged I have less hair on my legs and underarms.

  • I am lucky that being blonde the hair on my legs is very fine and pale so I simply shave.
I was given an epilator but could never seem to get it to work for me so i gave up.

  • I’d consider that a blessing (coming from someone who wishes their bold dark leg hair was light). I’ve always been curious about epilators, they seem like the most painful option

  • Yes, I know people that have had great results. Unfortunately for me, my hair is fine and light coloured so it won’t work very well, if at all.

  • If you can commit, laser hair removal is the bees (silky smooth) knees! After just one session I noticed a difference, but it takes several to get the job done. Depending on the person a session will be needed every 6-12 months for upkeep.
