Moisturise & prime! Prep is key

This is such a great question! I haven’t really mastered this yet either but I do find moisturising first and leaving for a few minutes before applying foundation helps it sit well. Then I may even reapply a tiny bit if it’s still needing more

Skincare first, exfoliate and ensure your base isn’t dry. Don’t mix oil based and water based products as it can cause products to seperate

I am another vote for using a primer that suits your skin.
I am just using the MCo Primer and that works wonderfully for me.

For me it’s how well my skin is prepped before hand. A really good primer makes the world of a difference. My current fave is the Fenty Pro Filt’r. It makes my skin look blurred and is the perfect base for my foundation.
