Hello!

Has anybody tried it? Is it worth it? How long did it take to see results and how often do you have to keep doing it once your initial treatments are done? I’ve heard it’s not fully permanent and you need to keep going back is this true? I have light hair but my daughter has dark so I’m interested in everyone’s experiences

  • From my understanding, laser removal works best on people with light skin tone and dark hair.
I had a little more than 10 sessions in my 20s (following a strict appointment schedule) for underarm and 3/4 leg. Ten years later, I get a few hairs growing here and there but nothing I really care about or remove.

  • Loving all this information! 6 weeks is awesome!! So is the every 4-6 month session afterwards forever or does it eventually stop growing back all together?

  • I havent tried it but my daughter has. I have light hair and she has dark. Apparently she was told that its much better on dark hair and less painful. The first visit is the most intense. I cant remember how many times she went back to start with but now she tends to go back every 10 to 12 weeks just for what they call maintenence.

  • Great question!! One that I’ve always wondered myself. I know it can differ for people depending on the colour of your hair and how much of it you have. I do believe it’s one of those ones that you have to keep up every so often to remain hairless. Something ive always wanted to try!

  • I haven’t tried it as my hair is quite light and I’ve been told it wouldn’t be of great benefit.

  • Absolutely love laser. I’ve had it done, so has my sister and her partner. We all have dark hair. After the first session I noticed as shedding after a few days. By the 3rd session I had very noticeable results. For me it took 6 sessions to be 99% hairless. About every 4-6 months I need a session to keep it that way
