Hello!

Has anyone switched to natural deodorant and seen positive results? I’ve wondered if it would be more gentle on my skin, but I’ve never been able to get past those initial few days of adjustment.

  • No i havent tried. You’ll either love or hate it though! I dont think i could use it for me personally, i would just always be more anxious wondering if i smell or not !

  • Absolutely second you on Mitchum. I’ve been using it since I was a teen and have always found it has a superior antiperspirant formula. It may not smell as flowery and cute as others available, but not sweating is my priority

  • I recall doing a breast cancer survey about what we know and don’t know. I was surprised that aluminium in not an issue as rumours suggest. I haven’t tried any but since I discover Mitchum brand I stick with that. It’s that antiperspirant qualities that I like.

  • Thank you so much for your info Meedee, this is exactly why I wanted to ask for real first hand experience. I really hope your skin has recovered. That sounds like an awful experience. I had been reading that the ‘aluminum causes health issues’ topic could potentially have been fabricated, so there may not be any reason for me to switch. Really appreciate your comment

  • I tried a few and some of them were horrible and made my arm pits breakout and become sore. So much so that I needed a cream from the Doctors. My daughter thought that it might have been from ones that contained baking soda which doesnt seem very natural to me.
I am now back using my trusty nivea for sensitive skin
