Hello!

What do you find works best for you? I currently have a paddle brush with nylon pins, and I’m not crazy about it. I haven’t used boar brushes in a long time and am debating if I go back as my hair isn’t as thick currently. Does anyone use them?

  • I worked for a hairdresser growing up and she told me to always use a bristle brush. I’ve always used one and my daughter uses them too and my grandson. I use a large toothed comb when I get out of the shower and comb my knots out of my hair but then it’s the bristle brush. Also , I find it best for styling your hair as well. But I suppose it’s up to your preference.

  • I might give the boat brush a try, this humidity has been bringing out the frizz in my hair and I’d love to try anything that might help. I love a wide tooth comb in the shower to help spread my hair treatments

  • I just use the nylon pins and I’m
Happy with that. I have used the boar brushes before but found they didn’t really give my hair the lift I wanted and made my hair flat

  • I have very long and fine hair that is prone to tangle and break so I hardly ever use a brush and stick with a comb.

  • It seriously depends on the hair type and texture you have! Ex hairdresser hear – boar bristle is fantastic on frizzy or curly hair. But a synthetic like wet brush is better on straight hair types! Personally i have a wet brush as i have straight hair that tangles very easily
