  • Honestly i normally buy cheaper perfumes for daily use upto $50 but i will always spend the $200-$300 on a nice perfume that i will only use when going out somewhere nice

  • Yeah I agree that it’s super expensive! I don’t really buy many because I’m super fussy and I find it gives me a headache and makes me dizzy going around sniffing them all so I’m kind of stuck in my favourites. I’m going to have to resort to chasing people down and asking them what they are wearing if they smell nice lol

  • As bad as it is for my pocket, I have found that I really prefer the higher end brands. If I can get a good sale, I’m stoked, but I have saved for some that were on my must have lists. I’ve posted before about how I haven’t had any luck with dupes, and I end up wasting money on them

  • I think perfume has always been pretty dear. I don’t really buy it for myself, but ask people to get it for me sometimes as gifts as I can be hard to buy for. I wouldn’t spend more than around $20 personally.

  • $50. I love Elizabeth Arden Red Door & Arpege and can get it for that price but I usually ask for perfumes as gift suggestions.

  • I agree. For a good perfume that lasts all day, you need to spend $100+. I’ve tried cheaper ones, and cheaper for me is around $50 and they don’t last longer than a few hours. My husband recently splurged on my daughter and I. He bought us both Chloe. (Our daughter’s name is Chloe). And OMG! You can smell it a mile away and the scent lasts all day. Love it!

  • Expensive! I wouldnt spend more than 160 these days as i find i can get good ones for a lot less now.

  • I think perfume has always been a luxury item. Its always been something I would ask as a gift in my teens or save up for. These days I’ve been finding outrageous sales for perfume I love that has helped me save a fortune while indulging in my favourites (Mugler and Ralph Lauren Romance for $30, yes please!)

  • I think quality perfume has always been expensive.
You can get cheaper perfumes but they wont last on your skin so they really are not worth the spend.
I guess the max I have ever spent was around the $200 mark but that was for a 100ml bottle.
