Hello!

I get rosacea flare-ups occasionally and have sensitive skin. Can anyone recommend an affordable foundation that disguises redness whilst feeling good on the skin? I discovered Clinique at David Jones and Myer but it’s not cheap and the bottle is quite small, too.

  • I suffer with Rosacea and found that I have to use very gentle skincare.
Foundation wise I like the Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation in the tub and not the tube.
Lust mineeral cosmetics Mineral foundation is a powder and that was lovely on my skin BUT its not cheap. It does however last a long time.

  • Ah i was going to suggest the Estée Lauder double wear foundation as its full coverage and amazing but just like the Clinique, it does come on the pricier end of foundations. Although a little does go a long way so you can stretch your money further!

  • I’m so sorry to hear this! The only good skin coverage product I have is revlon colourstay concealer but I do recall thin Lizzy that was advertised on tv was supposed to be gentle and good coverage?

  • I’ve never had this issue but as I age and am having sun damage frozen off I’m feeling that I need better coverage. There is always a product out there, cheaper, that does the job. I hope the answers pop up here as Ill be watching.

  • Unfortunately I don’t have much experience with what’s cheaper and available now. I’ve found the products that work well for me are a bit on the ‘spency side. My sister lives for Youngblood mineral makeup. Its very gentle on skin and has great coverage, but again not cheap.
