I think it’s worth mentioning that my kids are in the generation for this to happen. They are always sending me Instagram reels of amazing products and asking if we can please buy it! I know if they had access to spending online they would be broke by now lol thankfully I’ve shown them that most of the time the ingredients are the same as a simple item from the shops and not worth the extra money just because ‘influencer’ promoted it
Nope. I dont have TikTok and im not swayed by Influencers as most of them are paid to promo products. I tend to take the advice of one of my beauty friends as we have been hanging around beauty sites together for years and I know I can trust their reviews.
Not really no. I tend to prefer seeing before and after pictures and items with reviews etc
Although I must admit sometimes I’ll see a product on Instagram and it makes me want to buy it but I will always check review first and they usually aren’t as perfect as they seem
No I haven’t bought anything purely because of the celeb. I like to see reviews of formulas, wear time before I buy. Celeb lines tend to be more pricey
