I think as long as it has a high 50 rating it’s safe to use. The boujee brands probably just have extra moisture ect so depends what you are looking for
I always use 50+ because it’s the best protection however I’ve mainly used cancer councils sunscreen. I do find the expensive ones such as anthelios are less greasy and stinky so I guess it depends on your preference. I’ve read a lot recently about sunscreens containing harsh chemicals which mimic estrogen in the body and causing problems so I’m actually starting to research into non toxic sunscreens
With Sunscreens being in the media a lot of late for failing to meet standards I think the brands that they said you could trust are La Roche Posay and Neutrogena. I think there were a couple more but I cant remember which ones they were.
Personally I like the Neutrogena Dry Touch one in the blue tube. I have used that for years and it works well under makeup.
I did have a small sample tube of Pricelines sunscreen and that was pretty good also.
I won’t even consider a sunscreen unless it’s 50+, then it depends on how it works for my skin. I’ve lashed out on brands only for it to irritate my eyes and have me looking terrible within an hour. The brands I like tested well in the Choice labs.
