Hello!

What’s your go to tinted sunscreen/BB cream brand? I’m not usually a wearer but the humidity is making medium and light coverage foundation a gamble. I’ve tried the Cancer Council Day Wear BB Cream and it isn’t too bad, but not the most pleasant around the eyes.

  • I’m interested in the answers here as it’s something I’ve been considering of late though I worry about getting any sunscreen near my eyes.

  • Yikes, just asking for a recommendation not a read. My skin isn’t always perfect and when I have some redness I like to be able to have a bit more confidence by having even toned skin. I don’t think we need to judge why others might use a product.

  • I dont use one, or perhaps just havent really found one i really like to be honest! I’d rather choose a sunscreen then go in with my favourite BB or something similar

  • I have used sun sense tinted sunscreen before, it was my go to all through highschool but then as I got older I wanted something a bit heavier and so moved on to a foundation with spf.

  • Lol I have never used a tinted sunscreen. And I wonder why people use a tinted sunscreen ? Are we not enjoying (a limited amount of) the sun to get a the very much needed vitamin D and a natural tint ? Personally I only use normal sunscreen when we’re going to do beach or do an activity in the sun, but not so much during every day life. However I do have a wee pot of natural zink “Surf Mud” which is tinted

  • I love the sound of that Lancome one. I don’t consider anything less than SPF 50 to be suitable for Aussie summers, especially when on the face. Thank you so much for the recommendation. That’s so unfortunate that BB creams are on the out. I’ll be curious to see what’s next in the market

  • I use BB creams all the time and love them.
Lancome have one that has SPF 50. The UV Expert BB Complete. Its pricey but works well.
Rimmel have a BB Cream with SPF 15.

I did hear that BB creams were going to vanish from the shelves as apparently Tinted Moisturisers are a bigger seller.
Nude by nature have a tintede moisturiser with sunscreen but im not sure what the SPF is on that one.
