Hello!

Silly question but do hand creams help with anti aging? Or do you use your anti aging face creams on your hands?
My hands are starting to look a little aged and I want to know what works best. I’m not a big fan of the masks and it’s only really the backs of my hands that I’m focusing on.

  • The Dermaveen Hand cream is great.
I always use gloves when washing dishes and having my hands in hot water for cleaning.

  • Ah this is a good question! I think it’s a commitment constantly having to moisturise your hands. But with the amount we use our hands and how hard they work for us, sometimes it can be inevitable to prevent aging but we can slow it down somewhat! You could always put a bit of extra face cream on your hands afterward but it would take a long process as it wont help overnight

  • I think it’s just going to happen but we can try our best. We use our hands so much and wash them and expose them daily to many things. It’s a losing battle as they always say the hands give away our age. I lather mine in sorbelene cream sometimes and leave cotton gloves (from the chemist) on for a few hours or overnight. great for eczema etc.

  • The best tip I heard was to make sure to put sunscreen on the back of your hands and wrists before driving. So often they are in the sun when on the steering wheel.
Other than that I use a thick and hydrating hand cream every night.
